There are a number of reasons why your card might not be working at a cashpoint. First check the following:
- Does your Sibstar card have enough funds to cover the cost of the purchase?
- Check you have switched on cashpoint use in the Sibstar app.
- Check you are not trying to withdraw more than the daily withdrawal limit you have set in the app.
- Check you have not exceeded your maximum number of cashpoint withdrawals per day. We have set this to a maximum of 3 per day.
- Check you are not trying to withdraw more than the maximum amount per day or more than the maximum amount in one go. We set both of these at £250.
Note: some cashpoints will charge for a cash withdrawal, e.g. £3.99 withdrawal fee. This fee is added to the withdrawal amount and our 99p fee, so your withdrawal amount must be lower than the ATM limit you have set in the Sibstar app.
