Auto top up is a really useful feature and helps avoid those stressful 'card declined' moments at the checkout.
Auto top up works by automatically 'topping up' the Sibstar card to your chosen amount of money - once a day.
For example, you set the 'Minimum card balance' to £20. A purchase is made which costs £10 . Auto top up will now automatically move £10 from your Sibstar account to the Sibstar card, bringing your card balance back up to the £20 limit you set.
Here’s how to do it:
- Log in to the Sibstar app
- Click ‘More’
- Click ‘Auto top up my Sibstar card’
- Click the toggle next to 'Auto top up'. If it's green, it's switched on
- In the box next to 'Set minimum card balance amount' enter the minimum amount of money you want to have on your card
- Click ‘Save’
You're all done!
Hint: Auto top up only happens once a day, because without this 'once a day rule' the other spend limits you set would be meaningless.
