Auto top up is a really useful feature and helps avoid those stressful 'card declined' moments at the checkout.
It works by automatically 'topping up' your Sibstar card to a pre-defined amount a spend pulls your card balance below this limit. When you set an auto top up amount, we will 'top up' your card - once a day.
Here’s how to do it:
- Log in to the Sibstar app
- Click ‘More’
- Click ‘Auto top up my Sibstar card’
- Click the toggle next to 'Auto top up'. If it's green, it's switched on
- In the box next to 'Set minimum card balance amount' enter the minimum amount of money you want to have on your card
- Click ‘Save’
- You're all done!
Example: You set your 'Minimum card balance' to £20. You make a purchase which pulls your card balance down to £10. With auto top up, Sibstar will automatically move £10 from your Sibstar account balance to your Sibstar card, bringing your card balance back to the minimum you set of £20.
Hint: Auto top up can only happen once a day, this is part of Sibstar's commitment to your security.
