You can only load funds into your Sibstar account from the Cardholder's main bank account, or the Supporter's main bank account, although this will take a bit longer to reach the cardholder's Sibstar account.
The quickest type of transfer will be from an account in the cardholder's name, into the named Sibstar account.
Sibstar is part of the Faster Payments network which means payments from most UK banks arrive instantly in an account with a matching name, but occasionally it can take up to 2 hours. On weekends/bank holidays, this may take a little longer.
You won't be able to accept payments from what we call 'third parties' - This means transfers from bank accounts not in the cardholder's or supporter's name, except for payments relating to disability benefits, pensions and other similar payments from the government.
Any funds sent from third parties will be returned to the account they were sent from, generally within 1-2 working days. We may restrict your account if we need to investigate this further, but we will always communicate this with you as soon as possible.
