You can transfer money into your Sibstar account from another bank account*. You’ll need your unique Sibstar sort code and account number, which can be found here:
- Log into the Sibstar app
- Select ‘More’
- Select ‘Transfer funds to my Sibstar account’
- Your unique Sibstar sort code and account number will be revealed. Make a note of these.
Then, go to your existing bank account and make a transfer using the sort code and account number. It’s exactly the same as making any other transfer.
To make it easier next time don’t forget to set Sibstar up as a payee and set up a regular standing order.
*You won't be able to accept payments from what we call 'third parties' - This means transfers from bank accounts not in the cardholder's or supporter's name, except for payments relating to disability benefits, pensions and other similar payments from the government.
Any funds sent from third parties will be returned to the account they were sent from, generally within 1-2 working days. We may restrict your account if we need to investigate this further, but we will always communicate this with you as soon as possible.
