If the Sibstar card is no longer needed, there are two options:
Option 1: You can temporarily freeze your card. Here’s how:
- Log into the app
- Click the ‘More’ button
- Select ‘Freeze card’
- Switch the toggle to green, this will automatically freeze the card
You will see a ‘Card frozen’ message on your screen; this means the card cannot be used until it is 'unfrozen'. You can ‘unfreeze’ the card by switching the toggle back to grey.
Please note: Sibstar fees are still charged when the card is frozen.
Option 2: You can cancel the card and close your Sibstar account by emailing our customer service team at hello@sibstar.co.uk.
Remember to send us the name of the Cardholder of the account you'd like to close.
