How do I load money onto the Sibstar card?

This is really easy - here's how:

1. Log into the Sibstar app
2. Select 'Load card’
3. Enter the amount to transfer
4. Select ‘Account’ to ‘Card’
5. Select ‘Load my card’

Money will move instantly from your Sibstar account onto the Sibstar card, which will now be available to spend.

Money can be transferred from your Sibstar account onto the Sibstar card up to three times per day.

You won't be able to accept payments from 'third parties' i.e. transfers from bank accounts not in the cardholder's or supporter's name. However, exceptions are for payments relating to disability benefits, pensions and other similar payments from the government, we do accept those.

Any funds sent from third parties will be returned to the account they were sent from, generally within 1-2 working days. We may restrict your account if we need to investigate this further, but we will always communicate this with you as soon as possible.
