Our founder, Jayne, cared for her parents with dementia. Jayne noticed that her mum started to struggle with managing her everyday money, including falling victim to fraud, overspending and making unnecessary cash withdrawals. Jayne and her family wanted to support her mum, keep her safe and enable her to maintain some financial independence.
They spoke to banks and looked for a solution, but unfortunately nothing suitable was available. It’s this experience which inspired Jayne to create Sibstar. You can hear more about Jayne's story here.
